Lawsuit Filed by Man from Marksville

A lawsuit has been filed by a man from Marksville for over a million dollars.

According to the complaint, Ethan Caubarreaux of Marksville has alleged that he was injured when the car he was in was hit by another vehicle owned by the United States Postal Service.

The accident happened on October 14, 2014 when Dion Mliczek, the Postal Service employee allegedly drove the vehicle in an unsafe, reckless and dangerous manner, failed to observe surrounding traffic and failed to see what should have been seen.

Caubarreaux filed a form with the National Tort Center claiming injuries and damages of $1,250,000 in July 2015, but he states that the center has neither accepted nor rejected his claim and therefore he is now requesting a trial by jury asking for the same amount for medical expenses and loss of past and future wages.
